MORE EXCITING NEWS! The IFA is honoured to also announce that Caregiver Connections, the first global trauma-informed, comprehensive, free and accessible program for family caregivers, is scaling to reach caregivers everywhere.

​

​Caregiver Connections offers family caregivers a true one-stop resource from the comfort of their own living room: a peer-led fellowship and "family of choice," a free education curriculum, and an extensive library of caregiver content, radio shows and podcasts. Grounded in ACEs science and Polyvagal Theory, its steps and promises help caregivers build emotional regulation and co-regulation as they navigate stress, grief and complicated grief.

Throughout November, Family Caregiver Month, Jamie Huysman, PsyD, LCSW, CFT, will provide a free one-hour trauma-informed training to any and all organizations that would be interested!
